A couple of years ago, I broke my right wrist ( I am right handed as well ) while I was out with the dogs for a walk and I slipped. Auch 🥺 It was painful, very painful and I was out of business for 6 weeks. Some of you probably remember to this?! 

When they finally took my pink plaster cast off ( you got to be stylish, right 🤣 ), I had to learn a lot of things. Everyday movements like holding a cup ( it was hard and heavy to start with ), washing up, cleaning, cutting things and the list goes on. Just simple, day to day things were hard to do. 

And I also had to learn again, how to file, hold my clients hands, do nails and paint my freehand painted designs which I love and specialised in. 🖌 

I had to start from scratch again 😩. 

I had to train my hand again. 

And it was not easy at all. I felt so bad and so disappointed with myself and I thought my life as a nail technician is over. 

But I didn't give up. Most of my practice tips ended in the bin 🚮 on week 1 but as time went on  my everyday practice paid off 🥳. 

Eventually there were only 1 or 2 tips in the bin  ( which is normal ) and I was ready to rock those freehand painted designs on my clients nails again.
